Dr Vinod Venkataraman has been serving the Mornington Peninsula as a consultant nephrologist since 2011.

He provides care for private patients five days a week through consulting rooms in Frankston and Rosebud and is now also consulting at McCrae Specialist Centre to continue his patient care in the local community.

Dr Venkataraman manages patients with chronic kidney disease due to a wide range of causes, including diabetes and hypertension. He also provides care for transplant patients and works in close liaison with the Alfred Transplant Unit.

He completed his medical training locally at Frankston Hospital and undertook further specialist training at The Alfred Hospital, Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, and Wollongong Hospital in New South Wales.
